Meet Anbini - she is a brown Tonkinese (74). Anbini was our first Tonkinese neuter and she has done exceptionally well on the show bench. Anbini was my very first pedigree cat. I had fallen in love with a Tonkinese some 10 years earlier whilst working at a vets practice and a lovely Chocolate girl came in for spaying. I spent the whole day with her under one arm, whilst about my work as she would not be put down. Captivated by her affectionate personality I vowed some day I would have my very own. Anbini came to live with us in February 2004 at 13 weeks of age. We had watched her grow from a tiny kitten and had eagerly awaited her arrival. We were not disappointed. Anbini with her hypnotic aqua eyes, and loving expression gives us much love. From day one, she demanded attention, and is never happier than when centre of attention, having her tummy rubbed or laying wrapped around my son whilst he watches TV. If there were such a thing as a cat sling (like a baby sling) I'm sure Anbini would be in her element being so close to you whilst you carried about your daily routine. If you are ever busy around the house, and may (unforgivably) forget she is present she will sneak up on you and surprise you with an almighty yowl to remind you, you need to be finishing up 'now' and give her a cuddle. Anbini is the most cuddly cat ever (though can be quite aloof with visitors, not yet gained her approval). Anbini turned this house upside down the day she arrived, and has caused us no end of distraction, which we would not be without! Hopefully one day, I hope to breed Tonkinese also (ssshhh don't tell the husband yet), as I have long since loved this affectionate breed, though I would no doubt forever compare any Tonkinese kitten to this girl who will remain up on her pedestal.
